Volunteers provide many of the needed services at the Sullivan – Sorrento Historical Society throughout the year. There are so many small things that our staff would never be able to accomplish without the help of volunteers and members who are willing to lend a hand.

The Sullivan-Sorrento Historical Society offers many ways to get involved as we preserve, protect, and share the rich history of the area. Projects and available volunteer tasks encompass genealogy research, data entry, digitization, assisting with programs, curation of exhibits, staffing the museum, and more. If you are interested, please contact us, and we will figure out a project that meets your skills and interests.

COVID-19 Update: Although our museum is currently closed to the public, volunteer projects are not on hold, nor are they necessarily limited to the physical location of our archival and museum spaces in the Recreation Center and the Urann House. We are happy to discuss options for research or digital work that can be done from home in addition to safe and socially-distanced project work.
